Toyota Certified Used Vehicles

The best new cars make the best used cars.

When you think of Toyota, one of the first words that comes to mind is dependability. This dependability is what makes Toyota cars, trucks, and SUVs last on the road for 10, 20, even 30 years. Toyota vehicles are some of the highest quality cars you will find. After all, the higher quality a car is to start with, the longer it will stay on the road. This makes buying one of the high-quality, low mileage certified used Toyotas from Shults Toyota an affordable, and logical purchase since they have many more miles and years left in them.

Toyota has a commitment to quality, durability, and innovation which help lay the groundwork for the Toyota Certified Used Vehicles (TCUV) program. Started in 1996, the TCUV program has become more popular every year. So far, over three million TCUV have been sold.

No only will you get Toyota dependability when you purchase your Toyota Certitied Used Vehicle from Shults Toyota, but you'll also recieve one of the best coverage policies in the industry. You get a 12-month/12,000-mile Limited Comprehensive Warranty[1] a 7-year/100,000-mile Limited Powertrain Warranty[2] AND one full year of Roadside Assistance
[3] , honored at more that 1,400 Toyota dealers in the U.S. and Canada.

So what does it take to become a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle? Well, the TCUV certification process starts the second we get the used Toyota vehicle on our lot and goes until the Toyota car or truck is finally sold to you. Not all Toyota cars and trucks make the cut to become a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle. The Toyotas that do have to meet strict critera and a rigorous inspection before we, and Toyota, are willing to put our stamp of approval on them.

The Toyotas that are eligible for the certification are those from this current model year vehicle through Toyota vehicles that are six years old. To become Toyota Certified, the vehicle also has to have 85,000 miles or less on the odometer. Every Toyota Certified Used Vehicle also undergoes a rigorous 160-point inspection. Then, a CARFAX vehicle history report is reviewed to assure that only the best of the best used Toyota vehicles receive the Toyota Certified Seal of approval.

Now how's that for peace of mind?
